Use these Free Puppetry Teaching Resources, with examples from Les Enfants Terribles’ productions, to explore puppets with your students.

Puppetry brings creativity and imagination to our productions. It’s allowed us to swim in the sea, make a house that runs and even a child who eats his own Mum!

Use this collection of presentations and posters to explore puppetry in the classroom. The resources are suitable for all ages. Use them as a tool to introduce puppetry to Key Stage 3, or for more in-depth study for GCSE and A-Level classes.

Working with recycled household materials, our experienced puppetry practitioner will excite and entertain your students while teaching them the foundations of design, animation and puppet manipulation.

Easily sourced objects will be brought to life to help spark the creativity and playfulness students desire from drama lessons. This workshop can be adapted to be delivered in person or via a digital platform.

  • Suitable for: KS3, KS4 & KS5 (ages 11+)
  • Length: 2 hours, 4 hours or Full Day
  • Format: In-School or Digitally (via Teams, Zoom, etc.)
  • Cost: From £350

This presentation explores the different types of puppetry Les Enfants Terribles uses in their productions. Using examples from our productions, students will gain an insight into Shadow Puppetry, Finger Puppetry, Rod Puppetry, Found Object Puppetry, Body Puppetry and Bunraku Puppetry.
